Human Placental Matrix Technology

Blackfish has developed a 2D and 3D matrix for tissue and cell culture that more accurately mimics the in vivo tissue micro-environment. In the clinic, the technology has the potential to accurately regenerate and re-vascularize mammalian tissue.

 

• Blackfish’s human Placental Matrix (hPM) Technology provides a realistic analogue to the in vivo cell growth environment by incorporating a complex mix of growth factors and other biomolecules found in the human placenta.

• This platform enables cells in culture to exhibit more realistic behavior, such as controlled stem cell differentiation, bone matrix mineralization and complex vasculature formation, and wound healing/skin regeneration.
